The Research & Development activities, carried out by the scientists at Istituto Ricerche Applicate SpA, consists in the study of a new product formulation, and ends with the creation of a prototype analyzed by appearance, texture, stability, chemical-physical and biological properties, accordingly to the requirement demanded by previous agreement with the customer.

The development starts in the first place from a careful selection of raw materials.

Every analysis concerning the product and its components is carried out utilizing cutting-edge equipment, owned by I.R.A. laboratories, or outsourcing through the partnership with highly qualified laboratories.

The primary and secondary packaging selection can be carried out through I.R.A.’s trusted suppliers. Alternatively, packaging can be also selected and purchased directly by the customer, and provided to I.R.A. for processing the finished product.

At the end of the development process, the product can finally be prepared on a large scale, thanks to our production plants, boasting numerous instruments with different application possibilities, and offering environment controlled rooms for sterile production, in compliance with ISO14644.
